Ever since Erin Condren launched the Petite Planner Folio System, I abandoned my Traveler's Notebook as my sketchbook/journal. Her version called to me with her colorful style and larger, not so skinny size. I loved that I could rotate in different colorful journals, notebook and planners.
My Lagoon On the Go Folio Cover was looking dirty and worn out with love from all the places I have taken it. Luckily, thanks to Plan with Laken's video, I had a clue that the Winter Surprise Box was for Petite Folio lovers. Hello!!
Once I got the surprise box, I immediately changed the gray 2020 cover and it's given me an instant boost. Let's do this 2020! (I'm still coveting the Starry Sky cover that is out of stock online.) The great thing about these folios is that you can easily attach to the inside elastic up to four petite planner notebooks. Just a warning, it can get heavy and thick if you add four. My limit is three booklets and sometimes I take out one and just carry my two most important ones. I recommend though buying four when you first buy your Petite Planner Folio System because there's a discount of 20% when you purchase four petite journals/planners together. Also when I write in these notebooks, I use my Erin Condren Classic Dual-Tip Markers ($15.50 for set of 6). I tend to use black and teal the most!
As a digital designer and writer, I am using my Petite Planner as my sketchbook for my upcoming children's web series and site that I will be launching in 2020. Erin Condren has added a few cool new items to her Petite Planner line up so I wanated to give you a peek inside my set up.
The On the Go Folio Insert ($5) is a large piece of plastic with pockets that I insert through the back and under all the other elastic strings. It's currently out of stock online so I'll keep you posted when it comes back. My first petite planner is the Lined Petite Journal ($9). I use this for meeting notes, to write down research ideas, or when ideas relating to my project come to me.
The middle section is my Petite Planner Monthly ($14). I have the 18 month one but you can get the new 12 month one for 2020. love that it's got all the months where I can get an overview of the various tasks I need to get done each month relating to my project. I also love that there are tons of dot grid notepaper in the back.
My last notebook is the Amy Tangerine Heart Song Blank Petite Journal ($9). This is my sketchbook where I write/draw and paste clippings in. Maybe when my project goes live, I'll be able to share some of the pages inside.
Finally this is the back where you can see the other side of the On the Go Folio Insert. I love that I can place in business cards here or whatever I need to. I used to also have a Medium Clear Sticky Corner Pocket ($7.50) that I stuck on my Lagoon cover. I don't think I need this anymore with this Folio Insert but perhaps it may be an option for you to hold loose papers, receipts, etc.
