Ok this isn't Hello Kitty but it's pretty and pink! These packing cubes are the best! I got this last year for my daughter as a Christmas gift and she used them this summer for travel. Are you ready for a beautiful book to curl up with this Fall? A new version of Jane Austen's Persuasion is here complete with beautiful fold out letters and papers that are inserted into glassine envelopes within the novel. Author Barbara Heller does it again as she previously worked on the classic novels Little Women and Pride and Prejudice which I covered last year in Coquette Maman.

This is my second favorite Austen book, after Pride and Prejudice, of course. It's a story about Anne Elliot and Captain Wentworth and their second chance for love.  As you read the novel, letters, newspaper clippings, maps and other beautifully vintage-style ephemera sit like little treasures inside envelopes between the pages. All these extra content created by Barbara Heller was intensely researched giving us readers more depth to the characters and the historical Regency Era in England. I love how this addition just immerses you into the entire world of Anne Elliot and you are transported away into that time.

This is a great collectors piece for any book lover and Austen fan. It also makes a great gift for the holidays!

And if you want to catch the movie, I recommend the 2007 BBC version with Sally Hawkins as Anne over watching the recent Netflix version with Dakota Johnson.
