Lands' End Canvas Summer Swim Essentials

It's the start of summer, swimming, and the beach for me and my little girl Chloe. Thanks to Lands' End Canvas, their swim section has new mix and match swimsuits and fun beach accessories have me ready for fun in style. Some items are even on sale too!

Choose from bikinis, tankinis, and one-piece swimsuits. You can mix and match tops and bottoms to create a look you want for your body shape. I chose the Bandeau Tankini Top ($49.50) matched with the Bikini Bottom ($29.50), both in Sapphire Ice. First off, the tankini is so flattering on my body. I love the option of wearing something different and more modern than the standard bikini. The padded bust gives me more shape than any other swimsuit has ever done for me! I also love being able to remove the halter strap and wear it strapless for no tan line. The swimsuits come in fantastic colors and there are some great fun prints. Just choose the top and bottoms you want!

Marc Jacobs Zip Clutch Wallet

I have been using my Marc Jacobs Zip Clutch Wallet ($295 at Bergdorf Goodman) for about 5 years now. The leather is soft and it's still in great condition. My favorite part of the wallet is just all the nice compartments, including the handy outer flap where I can quickly place parking garage tickets or doctor's appointment cards. I find the two outer coin pockets to be really convenient because having more coins doesn't prevent you from closing your wallet.

To be honest, I'm in a dilemma because I am itching for a new wallet (just for the heck of it) but I can't seem to find one that matches this one for all it's wonderful compartments inside and out. For quick trips to the corner store, I can even put my house key and iPhone in here and have it all in one place. It's sleek and clean-looking on the outside so I always get compliments from sales clerks on the beauty of my wallet.

The other day I saw a young tall blonde girl in jean shorts and a top who I swore looked exactly like one of my college friends in one of her exact outfits from 1990. In fact, seeing a lot of the girls around the city today brings me touches of nostalgia. Calypso St. Barth for Target

If anything could put you in a summer mood, it's the new Calypso St. Barth for Target collection that's available now online and in stores. I headed down to my nearest Target store (Daly City/Seramonte Mall) and was pleasently surprised to find a lot of the items available and in stock. The collection ranges from womens (including swimwear and lingerie) and girls/toddler/infant clothing to accessories (think beachy totes, espadrilles, jewelry) as well as some eclectic pieces for the home. My favorite by far is this turquoise Fan-Print Dress ($36.99) that I am actually wearing now with leggings, my gold bangles, and gold Tory Burch flats. (It's a rare warm day here in SF!) I will mention that the photos online don't do the collection justice at all. They look so much better in person! I was really surprised at the quality and the beautiful dyeing details in the fabric.

I can't resist the beauty of rose gold. When it comes to summer I love being able to mix metals, especially silver. Spring Essential: DKNY Heritage Print Scarf

My favorite accessory this spring is the silk scarf. Right now I am wearing the DKNY Heritage Print Scarf ($95 at DKNY) almost all the time to dress up my outfits and sweaters. I have two of them – one in red and one in nude that I alternate between so much so that I just leave them on top of my dresser these days. If you had to get one, I'd go for the red because it's the accent color of the season and will continue to be for fall. I love wearing it loose in the front for a more casual feel or tied sleekly in the back when I wear it with a blazer. You can instantly add polish and instant French style with this scarf!

I've been wearing my Le Col Cashmere snood for way over a year now (I have the cream one) and love it. (Previous Coquette post here.)
