It's all about the statement necklace and right now my favorite one I have been wearing has been the Van Camp Necklace ($32) from Outrage Fashion. I wore it in Paris last month for dinner at Le Cinq at the George V. It gave my LBD a colorful pop and literally made my entire outfit. I can see this necklace working for me a lot this spring and summer with their eye-catching mint, green, and orange colors. The quality of the necklace has been great and it's not heavy at all around my neck. Back at home now in the city, I can give a simple casual outfit a modern edge by pairing it with a white t-shirt, skinny jeans and a white or black blazer.

Dior reinterprets the classic stud earrings with their Mise en Dior Tribal Earrings ($290 at Dior Boutiques). These showstopper earrings come in two parts. The front features a small ball. In the back, a larger ball appears behind the ear lobe giving a unique kind of dangle. Back in February, Jennifer Lawrence wore the pearl version to a restaurant in London. The earrings not only come in classic pearl but also a variety of stunning colors such as blue, green, red and black. Purchase the Mise en Dior earrings at your local Dior boutique.

I adore the new edgy look in jewelry but I have a small frame so I like things that are bold but still delicate. While in Hawaii browsing the magazines by the pool, I ripped out a page from last month's In Style magazine featuring Emma Stone wearing Melinda Maria's gold-plated Titus Ring ($58). She wore this arrow shaped ring ever so stylishly on her index finger at a Revlon event. I plan on getting this ring but can't decide what else I want because once you visit the Melinda Maria site, you'll become hooked. The jewelry is gorgeous and she has a range of pieces that are wallet friendly.

In case you haven't heard the buzz, emerald green is the color for 2013 according to Pantone. I believe the best and most inexpensive way to spruce up your wardrobe each season is through accessories.
