The Man Repeller x Superga: Sneaker Luxe

The classic canvas sneakers by Superga gets a luxe facelift by blogger The Man Repeller with their new ollaboration of pretty satin sneakers, The Man Repeller X Superga Satin Classic ($125 at Shopbop). Choose from pink, mustard yellow and olive green or denim blue and black. I live in my beat up Supergas and I'm ever so tempted by the soft pink version here. Ever since Chanel put sneakers with their runway fashions and gowns last year, we aren't seeing the end of luxe sneaker styles.

Get the Trend: Leather Espadrilles

I love myself a good espadrille but I am not ready to shell out over $600 for Chanel's logo emblazoned one. Espadrilles in my mind aren't meant to last forever. I of course can't ignore the cool look of leather mixed with the jute rope and recently on a shoe excursion to Nordstrom found these Kendall & Kylie Madden Girl Poppyy Espadrille Flats ($49.95 at Nordstrom). I told the SA I couldn't believe I was buying Kendall & Kylie shoes and she laughed and whispered, "It's ok. I am over 30 and I have a pair too! They are the best and way cheaper than Chanel." This I had to agree.

After wearing them the first day, I was hooked. The comfort was simply unspeakable and the perforated (faux) leather looked fresh. They looked perfect paired with t-shirts and jeans or even a little more dressed up with a blazer. I now know I need another pair and am looking into the white/black one. Also comes in nude/white and coral. For me the shoes ran a little big and I had to go a 1/2 size down.

Step Into Spring with Coach Shoes

Whenever the seasons change, I tend to celebrate with a pair of shoes (or two, or um, three). I recently picked up the Coach Wooster Flat in python-embossed leather ($218, pictured below). I have gotten so many compliments each time I wear these, that I'm sure I need another color. The Wooster flat also comes in colored and metallic versions ($188) like silver, warm blush, cerise (pictured at top left) and black. I'm so glad that pointy-toed flats are in and the thin delicate strap look oh so pretty.

Another favorite shoe comeback I adore is the chunky heel. The Mackenzie Heel ($428, pictured at top right) is perfect to pair with spring dresses. It comes in chalk, natural and black.

The Slip On Sneakers

Move over wedge heeled high-tops, just in time for spring are the slip on sneakers. Think 80's classic Vans gone glam complete with animal print or glittery gold. Top brands from Celine to Prada are featuring these easy to wear sneakers but at a crazy high-end price (upwards of $400-700). I love these Steve Madden Ecentric Slip on Sneakers in Leopard Pony ($100 at Piperlime). I can't resist the juxtaposition of the pony hair on a sneaker and the price is just perfect. Pair them with any kind of denim look or even a frilly dress or skirt this spring.

Snag these Dolce Vita Hilary Booties currently on sale at Zappos for $119 (regular $189). I just picked mine up in the taupe suede but the booties also come in black leather. These shoes look like an inspired version of the popular Rag & Bone Harrow booties but at a fraction of the cost. What do I love the best about these booties? The padding inside the soles means heavenly comfort when you're walking around the city!

ECCO shoes are known for their comfort and this is especially true with their high-heeled shoes. The Danish brand doesn't skimp on style either. There are lots of new on trend designs out for fall that I'm coveting. I would recommend you to stock up on a pair or two of their boots and booties to take you through the fall and winter in high-heeled comfort with plenty of style.

I received the Nephi Ankle Bootie ($200) from ECCO to review. I loved the style which works with just about any outfit. These booties look especially chic paired with dresses and tights, yet equally amazing with a simple pair of jeans.They work for the work as well as play which is why I know I'll get a lot of wear from these booties this season. The shoes are made of Starbuck leather and features a cemented tunic flexible sole with a TPU insert which makes this high heeled bootie so darn comfortable! The heel height is 2.8 inches (70 mm).

If you like your shoes a little bit higher, new this fall, Ecco has raised it's height in some of their boots to 75 mm (around 3 inches). Check out their new ECCO Sculpted 75 collection to see them all. I love the Sculptured Ankle Boot ($200).

Meow! Kitten Heels Are Back

Give your tired feet a rest! The kitten heel is back for fall. It's no wonder these heels are a classic which came to popularity with Audrey Hepburn in 1954 from her movie Sabrina. I love this shoe paired with a classic pencil skirt for work. My favorite by far are the classic Coach Mandy Heel ($198 at Coach) in both black and a wine colored Port. Or go exotic, with the Mandy Heel in Python-embossed leather ($255 at Coach).
