Soft My First Christmas Tree

My friend Dawn just showed me this cute Soft My First Christmas Tree set ($29.95 + $5 personalization at One Step Ahead). It's a perfect little toy to get the little one excited to decorate and play with their own plush tree. We all played around with it this afternoon and I have to say it's really well-made. The ornaments stick on with one side of velcro backing easily on to the tree and the kiddies love it! All of can be put away in a cute plush gift box that can be personalized if you like. For ages 6 months and up.

Stella McCartney Does Gap Kids and babyGap

Stella McCartney will be launching a line of children's clothing for babyGap and GapKids on Nov 2nd at select Gap stores in the US, UK, Canada, France, and Japan. A fashion designer who believes in eco-friendliness, McCartney used organic cotton, cashmere and wool. I'm loving the little military style jacket. Pumpkin Patch

While shopping with my mom this weekend at the mall near her home, I found a new kids store I never heard of before. Pumpkin Patch is filled with lots of super cute clothing for girls and boys. As a lover of crafts, I especially loved the applique t-shirts and embroidered sweaters. This Stretch Double Sleeve Applique Top is $22 and I love how it looks like it's 2 shirts worn together. Plus hello?! Who can resist a deer and owl? You can view their catalog online and buy some of the clothing in their online shop.

Cover Up in Big Cozy Sweaters

The good thing about having a baby in the fall and winter is that you can hide yourself in large cozy sweaters until your body gets back to its regular size. I love this Splash-Of-Color Cardi ($168 at Anthropologie) because you can wear it untied while preggers and keep wearing post-partum forever. The multi-colored stripe goes with anything and the ruffles give it a girly touch.

Tote Worthy

When you don't feel like toting around a baby bag that says "hi, I'm a baby bag" there are some great tote options out there. I'm always in love with a large tote and this Melie Bianco Studded Tote ($95 at Piperlime) is right on trend with the silver studs. (The price is also pretty good too.) There are lots of outer pockets for you put washcloths, pacifiers, toys, and whatever else you want. I like the polka dot lining inside too. This tote is great because it also comes with an extra strap so you can carry the bag messenger style. Do it for yourself! You know you'll feel so good every time you open up a beautiful tote.

Tea Collection: Girls Dresses

I love having having a little girl to dress up. Babies grow fast and there's no reason to spend a lot of money for clothing. At the same time, I like to splurge a little sometimes on 1 or 2 key pieces for a few months. Tea has some great outfits and pieces that you can coordinate. The stretchy material is great for a baby or active toddler and it's easy to wash. Most of the sizes go from 3 months to 5-8 years old. Dresses are fun for little girls and here are some of my favorites that are just in price range!

Svan High Chair

We just got a new Svan High Chair ($259 at Amazon) for Chloe. I'd like to say I did good research online to get this but it was actually from watching the reality TV show, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood that caught my eye. I was just amazed to see Tori's son being able to feed himself with a table tray close to his body, while also being able to look all around. A few google searches later I found it!

We had the Peg Perago and something just wasn't right about it. For one, it is too big for her. With the Svan, Chloe isn't slouching reclined in a big cushy seat. The foot rest is at her height as well as the tray table and she can see the entire surface of the table. What's also fantastic is that the tray can be moved closer to the baby and there isn't a large gap between them. Since it's all adjustable, we can actually have the high chair grow with her. Later on, we can convert the high chair into a toddler chair where she can sit at the dinner table with us. Our condo is a modern loft-style apartment and this high chair is compact and fits in better with our decor and small kitchen. The Scandinavian design (from Sweden) just looks perfect and it's made from natural wood in a variety of finishes.

Snuggle With My Snoogle

Gearhead Mom is one of my favorite blogs because it's written by a mom I know and trust, my friend Missy Wong (who has 2 adorable kids!). Last summer, when she took a blog break to have her son, I did a guest blog review on one of my favorite items during my pregnancy, the Leachco Snoogle Total Body Pillow ($49.99 at Amazon, it's cheaper now than last year!). I slept in the bottom position pictured and my husband had a view of the long side of the pillow and maybe could see my hair over the sides.
